Job Vacancy: Myanmar and Crisis Response Advocacy and Campaigns Officer

APHR is looking to hire a Myanmar and Crisis Response Advocacy and Campaigns Officer (ACO) to support the organization’s response to major human rights crises and emergencies across the ASEAN region. The Crisis Response ACO will identify advocacy opportunities and implement reactive strategies to empower parliamentarians to respond effectively and in a timely manner to human rights crises and situations of conflict with particular focus on Myanmar. The Myanmar and Crisis Response Advocacy and Campaigns Officer (ACO) will also work on refugees and migrant issues in the region.
ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights (APHR) was founded in June 2013 with the objective of promoting democracy and human rights across Southeast Asia. Our founding members include many of the region's most progressive Members of Parliament (MPs), with a proven track record of human rights advocacy work.
